From 14 to 19 September 2015, TCI UWED was hosting a training for teachers of interpreting on strengthening the competency of the interpretation education. Dr Nadezhda Kim from Hankuk University of Seoul conducted this training in the premises of the interpreting suite of TCI UWED. The program of the training included theoretical and practical aspects of interpreting and was focused on enhancing capability of UWED teachers to train students and colleagues from other Universities of Uzbekistan interested in launching a similar program. Modern equipment of the interpreting suite had been donated to UWED by KOICA this summer. Sponsored by KOICA teachers of UWED had a chance to visit Hankuk University to be introduced to the system of interpreter training at that University.
